Got my car back last Thursday. They did replace it with a remanufactured unit that has 64GB so hopefully this one will last. I did lose my driver profile settings but everything else appears to be there. Here is a cut and paste from the parts order email that I received.

Mine is in for MCU1 warranty replacement and they told me I was eligible for MCU2 upgrade for $2500. I asked the same question - its a NO so I told them NO thanks. It would seem fair to pay the difference but they won't do it.

Yes, complaint submitted. Car still at SC so no updates yet. They did offer an MCU2 "upgrade" again but I declined since they would not do it under warranty nor would they give a credit for the re-manufactured unit that they won't have to put in if I do the upgrade.

Have you test driven the NON performance dual motor yet? You probably want to do that first and then decide if you can justify the $14k. I would hate to buy the NON Performance model only to regret and have to sell it at a loss to get the faster one. And by that time, probably no full $7500 rebate.
