I submitted a consumer complaint to the Attorney General of California and I encourage those of you that think 30+ days for a refund is unacceptable, to do the same.
Consumer Complaint Against A Business/Company
Unless the refund is being disputed by Tesla, there's no reason it should take...
Returned my SR but at the time (06/23/2019), had:
- heated seats front and back
- 220 miles of range
- No AP but does have all the safety features (lane keep, emergency braking, etc.)
- 0-25mph was slow but 25-60 had much more torque
I returned my car on day 6 after more or less the same issues as you have. The final straw was the wheel alignment was 2-degrees off center and I didn't want a new car to have 15+ issues to be fixed.
The Tesla folks didn't give a rats ass either about issuing a due-bill to fix the issues. So...
It's on the inside, wondering if it could be a trim adhesive they didn't remove. The rest of the vehicle has shoddy fit and finish so I wouldn't be surprised.
Do these tint shops everybody recommends prep the interior to minimize water/liquid dripping into the gaps and trim pieces? How careful are they with the interior?
I've seen tint shops who DNGAF about spraying all over and around the interior.
2 hours, lots of fit and finish issues they had to take time to fix. Still not done and need to chase them down for it. Will post pictures in the SR/SR+ waiting thread.
