Bought a used LR + model X recently. Love the car but I’m pretty sure it has the half shaft issue. Grinds/vibrates with hard acceleration. Drives great otherwise. I know I can get them half shafts replaced under warranty but it seems this is likely to be a recurrent issue. I’ve read about these...

I didn’t try. The dealer wasn’t able to transfer ownership so I couldn’t register a payment method. Will need to wait for the V5C

I’m not sure what a captive cable is. It’s an Ohme charger I got a couple of years ago. The cable is a tethered type 2. Works fine with the sorento PHEV. Hopefully it’ll be fine with the Tesla 🤞

It’s an OHME charger bought in the last 2 years so hopefully should be fine

The seller just replied advising the car comes with both cables and the adaptor. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks. I have a 7kwh charger at home. Will I be able to plug the car directly into that. Feel a bit daft. I’ve been following the EV world for years and suddenly realise I’m useless when it comes to the various charging types!

Thanks for the above replies. Much appreciated. Last question - it’s a model X. Can you advise what charger cables / adaptors I should get with the car. It’s a LR plus dec 2020. Should probably know this but not sure what adaptors I need for the public network.
