We actually did try "resting" the car with hopes the AC would return, but it did not. Plus, adding even more time at SC is less than ideal. We will hope that adding refrigerant will o the trick!

Great write up! I agree with the OP that my P90D does excellent in the snow/ice/cold. And yes to the snow tires. Very surefooted. I drove in a bit of a snow storm recently and absolutely not trying to race anybody, I could tell (rightly or wrongly) I had more confidence in my S than most did...

I am still somewhat optimistic in regards to the PW2's. Buried in the Loot Box, there is verbage to the effect that they will be delivered in 2019. Good luck to us all. Fortunately, no real power outages of note in Tahoe (at my home at least) over the last couple years.
