No software update will solve this. I had Tesla Mobile replace my motor strut on my trunk, but it made no difference. Still beeps twice at the top of most openings. I asked him about it when he was done with the fix and he just said, "No idea man. I'd bring it to your local service center."...

I have the Continental Pure Contact LS in 245/40-19. Highly recommend this tire. It's very quiet...almost as quiet as the stock 18 Michelin MXM tires. What you do notice, however, is the pinging sounds because there is no foam insulation in the tire, but it's quit subtle and not annoying at all.

I would get your money back and go to a different installer. The film should be wrapped around the edges of the hood, and it will also be wrapped on the front fenders and bumper on those sides that meet the hood area. When the job is done properly you can barely tell there is any film on the car.

Yes, the front lip seams are normal. I have that on mine, but in no way should there be seams like that on the front fenders. That is just incredibly sloppy work. I've had PPF done on two cars now by a very reputable shop -- Automobilia in CT -- they are actually the highest volume Xpel...

Danny - is Forggiato ever going to come out with a 19" of this wheel? I really want a very nice looking Aero wheel for the Model 3 and there are just incredibly few choices on the market that look half decent. Quite strange actually given the exploding volumes of EVs.

Went from a 2015 Golf R with a good amount of mods including Stage 1 tune to LR M3. Loving it so far.

They are +30 offset. I was really close to getting the 18" as well because the design of this wheel makes it look larger than it actually is. It's an amazing value wheel with the right looks, offset and load rating and it really complements the Tesla M3. Good luck with sale!!

My hood is way off from the factory and its not a matter at all of adjusting the front hood bumper thingies. But, I'm just too scared to have an SC touch it for the fear they will screw it up even more, so I've just learned to live with it as a "quirk" of the Tesla ownership experience. LOL.

Ah got it. Yes, that’s exactly right. Wider tire, different tire, more offset and no aero wheel all add up in a big way. On some brief highway runs I think the efficiency loss is easily 15%. It’s pretty serious. Looking good comes with a little pain!

The stock wheels without the aero covers look really good, but moving to a 19 inch wheel and pushing it out just 10mm makes a big difference in looks...at least to me. Cheers!

Here ya go. Not the best pics. The front is quite good. The back of course could come out another 10mm, but that’s not what I was going for. Just wanted a simple setup with a wheel that looked better than the stock 18s.
