I asked my current insurer about this while trying to get the price down and they suggested that you put the price you bought it at, which was enough to bring it closer to what I was paying before. They even took another £250 off as I said I was leaving - the joys of renewals...

Yeah think I'll have to go with them as it's the only one that's remotely close to what I was paying last year. Annoyingly they don't accept business cards, so will need to pay myself outside salary sacrifice which is annoying. Glad you haven't had any issues!

Update: Spent all morning trying to get price down. I'm 6yrs NCB and nearly all the major insurers have decided to flat out decline. Only one I've been able to get close to last years quote is Flow Insurance which I've never heard of. Unsure if it's just your luck with these quotes or it's...

Lucky. Will try Churchill... Direct Line flat out just say no for me after going through the quote.

Just been quoted over double for my renewal after my first year of a m3 standard range to a whopping £1400/annual 😬 Even on goCompare the usual insurers are absent. Between inflation and availability of m3 orders, I feel this is not a great time for insurance in the UK.

Quick update on mine: I got a new strut installed (took 2mins) - It's like a brand new boot now :)

Update: Seems to be working a bit better now actually. I have to lift it quite a bit first and then it'll lift up like normal without stopping. Not 100% but at least lifts the full way! Have reported to the service tech.

Finally got the update to 16.3 and the issue still happens sadly. Opened another ticket with support.

Interesting, the service rep told me it was just a software bug due to the wrong voltage being sent when the boot is triggered. They couldn't force the update, just told me to wait. Fingers crossed it's soon, I have updates set to advanced in hopes it triggers sooner.

Still waiting for the update... hopefully soon, but patience is wearing having it get stuck every day.

Been having this issue for a few weeks. It's been getting worse and number of times I've hit my head in the morning because it stops randomly prompted me to open a service ticket. I got this back today which confirms it's a software bug. Hopefully sorted soon.
