I got my VIN on Dec 14th. Same VIN is still there. Called Tesla today and they said the car is still at the factory. No way of telling if it will be on a truck before the end of the year.

I bought a Mercedes in 2011 in Monterey. They gave me a special driving out of Californian registration and didn’t have to pay California tax. I had I think 3 day to get it out. Not sure if that is still available.
