Yes, its "normal". They will push an update OTA hop soon. Tesla is transitioning to TeslaVision and, according to the company, it is going to be better than the sonars. Let's hope so.- sd26

Just took delivery of MYP..... all parking sensors (distance measures, audible sounds, color change depending on the proximity) are disabled.... we're waiting on the OTA update.- sd26
