I'm interested to find out more information about this also, bought my Model 3 Dec 2019 and FSD in Jun 2020 but definitely feeling a little conned when the US has seen considerably more results (more not better...) for about a year and we've lost features if anything.

Not particularly complicated. As mentioned earlier you'll need a 10mm socket to get the front skirt bolt out and probably a flat head screwdriver to get the original push clips out. Actually a little impressed with them considering they were a free addition, went with fitting the splash guard...
