Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I'm curious and would like to ask what is the general speculation of how much of a step up in power / acceleration the '24 M3P will have vs the 23 M3P. It is my understanding that the '24 is a few hundred pounds heavier than the '23 because of thicker glass, and substantially more sound...

I have absolutely had it with m3p 20’s

    I'm running Apex 18 x 9.5 Vs-5Rs wheels on my 2023 M3P and it clears the brakes just fine. 255 40 18 PS4S tires

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

The 5517 goes virtually un-noticed unless someone is a seasoned collector, only then do they see it, so not terribly flashy IMO, It is not shiny, does not have facets to twinkle. The 5517 is one of the most purpose built vintage watches out there. Rarely does anyone notice it. Only if you...

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I held off on ordering a S Plaid track pack because I want to see what the Highland M3P will be like. I prefer the visibility of the 3, and the more nimble handling of the 3, and the slightly smaller size. I also prefer that I can virtually dissapear in the 3. I live in the San Francisco Bay...

Bad experience with Nor Cal Chassis works, warning to others.

I think it had more to do with the conversation about the watch I was wearing. After they noticed what I was wearing and did a little google search I think they saw dollar signs. It is worth many times the car, but you are certainly free to speculate. It appears to me more like they took a...

Bad experience with Nor Cal Chassis works, warning to others.

I wanted to change the height because when I first got the car back from NorCal Chassis, it was the stock height (smack my head.) Given there was some confusion about me saying I wanted two fingers between the wheel well and tire and not 3 like stock, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and...

lightweight wheels model 3 performance 0-60 testing

And here is an "invalid" -4.4% slope run with rollout subtracted of a then 2.86 0-60 time. I imagine driving off a cliff would improve this even more.

lightweight wheels model 3 performance 0-60 testing

Here is the 2.99 0-60 without rollout ( the rollout was subtracted.) This is with everything in the car (no seats removed, etc), and some stuff in the trunk. The only change to the car is the lighter wheel/tire combination. This is without pre-heating the battery. To me, this is pretty good...

lightweight wheels model 3 performance 0-60 testing

I really like the Tesla driving and app experience. With my lightweight forged 18.3lb Apex Vs-5Rs wheels, My draggy says (without rollout) my 0-60 has been 2.99 Just squeaking in under 3 seconds. I don't know of any other super easy to operate grocery getters that can do that.
