FWIW I got my VIN last night for my Model S LR. I ordered it on Oct. 28 2021. EDDs flopped from March 4-April 1, then Feb 21 - March 6, then April 27 - May 10, then a day later to March 3 - March 9, then a day later got a VIN with a delivery date of March 4 - March 8. It’s hard to take the VIN...

I should add that there are photos on this post as well as a way to check your own vehicle and a simple recommendation to use a zip tie to hold it till Tesla recognizes the issue and issues a recall.
