Ah so this is not the booming and buffeting noise everyone's been talking about and has nothing to do with the hatch? If it's suspension sound, the only way might put some sound deadening where the wheel wells are.

I did more investigating and it seems like it's either coming from the hatch or the area where the subwoofer is located. Might have to open up that area to see if anything is loose there.

So I just got winter tires installed today and on my way back from the shop The seats were folded down with four tires resting on top and the noise is still the same. Mine is also China made.

I have a similar issue. SC thought it was the window hitting the seal. The seal hardens when the temperature drops so that's what they believe is the issue and they also used krytox to lubricate the seals. However that didn't really fix it for me and I think it's coming from the door panel...

Ahh I see. I actually went and removed the back license plate all together. I kept the plastic backing on the and removed just the actual metal license plate. The plastic cover seem to be on there pretty solid.
