I have similar problem when Messaging through WhatsApp or other platforms. Even the clicking when typing is terribly loud. So is notification. I posted another thread too but so far no solution seen. The latest Tesla software updated doesn’t help.

None helped. Just found that the same problem existed for Signal. First message ok, second and subsequent message drove volume to MAX

Whenever I used WhatsApp inside car, the volume jumped to maximum by itself even when it was originally set to off. The volume was so loud that even the clicking sound of typing felt like shooting bullets. Notification sound would be deafening, dangerous when driving. Texting using phone...
