Series 1 HPWC issues with 2018 model S
Not to rain on the MCU2 issue but I have the problem with the old MCU. 2014 P85 and March 2018 Model X100d with old MCU . I can use the HPWC on either car with no problem but the original UMC sometimes will cause the error on the new Model X. The two workarounds I have used are: 1-Unplug... -

Is it ok to charge battery every other day?
+1 I plug in my 2014 P85 once a week and have lost only 1% of my original range (260-->257) over 4 years. I keep range r40m 40-75% and charge to 100 only on longer trips- sner

Model X deliveries with Intel-based (model 3) MCUs
I took delivery of X100D on 3/14 VIN 877xx and do not have the new chip. Not sure I care much since I rarely surf the web in car and other functions are speedy enough. BTW if you refuse delivery, I believe you lose your deposit--right?- sner
