I am getting ready to install mine. I built a 20->26 pin harness. I noticed that the inductive charger has 3 wires, 12v, ground and LIN bus. In an earlier post I see that the pin outs show that wire but not an equal on the 20 pin side. Did you hook up something to that wire?

Maybe you should switch to a non-acidic wheel cleaner. I worked for tesla for a while and I know for a fact they will not warranty for using acidic wheel cleaners. They will typically damage the finish on the factory wheels, rotors and calipers.

It will all depend on whether the calipers are new or used. If they are used I would opt to replace the seals and dust boots. If they are new you should be able to get everything out without damage. Just be careful when getting the pressure seals out as to not scratch the piston walls or cut...

I went to Mt. Airy Coatings | Powder & Ceramic Coatings. I had to take out the pistons and seals. They stripped them, and coated them for me. I had to install the seals and pistons after they were finished. It included base coat, color coat and clear. I went with Prismatic Maui Blue.

That’s crazy expensive. I got my factory calipers (all four) powder coated for around $400.
