See my post history. On Dec 11, my EDD changed to Jan 21 - Feb 18. Then on Dec 12 I got texted saying my VIN had been assigned. I called Tesla and got tentatively scheduled to take delivery Dec 17 at the factory. I don't think the car has been built yet.

AFAIK, the EDD window is just an estimate and you don't actually know when you'll get a car until you get assigned a VIN. For all I know, the estimated window could change to February tomorrow. But yes, there was a point this morning where it was Dec 8, and my EDD window was Dec 7 - Dec 19...

The SA I spoke to in-person at the Sunnyvale location when I ordered the car told me I would be getting a home delivery. To be honest, I think I would rather pick up from a delivery center. I'm not sure if this is something I can request once I have a VIN assigned, but I will try.
