I picked up the car at the Tesla Factory in Fremont. I will take it to the Palo Alto center on Arastadero Road. The guy who helped me with the pickup was not sure they could align the chrome. They better. Most cars waiting for pickup were fine, but a few did have one side misaligned.

Doesn't the answer also depend on whether you are leasing or buying? If on a two year lease, upgrading to EAP may make sense, but self driving may not if it does not come to market by then. Likely the same for a 3 year lease。

That would be completely acceptable if indeed there is new hardware. Fingers crossed. DS has no idea of course - not sure they know anything more than we do until right before it comes out.
