Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

What I hope to see… On August 8th, the robotaxi and its manufacturing processes will be unveiled, and everyone will be amazed. But it will not be released until the end of 2025, at the earliest. In the meantime, Tesla needs sell more cars and FSU needs the miles to continue to improve. So...

I'm skeptical: financial viability of Tesla-exclusive rideshare service

I drive for Uber & Lyft in a 2012 Model S. Been thinking about the August 8 announcement about robotaxi and wondering whether a Tesla driving app will be mentioned at that time too. I think Tesla could easily offer a one year lease on a Model 3 or Model Y with unlimited miles with FSD. Tesla...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I bought a 2012 Model S new, many years ago. After about 5 or so years of ownership, the electric motor whine became apparent. I currently drive the car with Uber. I find riders in my Ubers either do not mind or like the sound.

How many miles on original battery ?

I have a 2012 Model S with original battery and motor. 138,000+ miles on car. Lost around 10% of range over the last 12 years. I’m in Georgia. Early on, I ran the battery to zero several times due to inexperience and lack of SuperChargers. But the car kept running until I was able to made...

“BMS u019 Acceleration reduced” any shops in LA to change battery contactors - pyro fuse?

I have a 2012 Model S 85. As noted in the attached image, I have 136,110 miles on the car. Original battery and motor and I have lost around 30 miles in range. I have been using the car for Uber the last several months so I have been putting more daily miles on the battery then in years...

    I created a registry for 2012 Model S VINs

I am interested in the spreadsheet as I want to know the best number of 2012 cars produced. Currently the highest number listed is 3265. I received my 2012 Model S on January 21st, 2013 and my vin ends in 3101. Also want to know how many have been wrecked and are out of service.

    I created a registry for 2012 Model S VINs

Since I have VIN 3101, the over 3,100 produced for the year is the more important statement to me. What is the actual number produced? Using the limited data in the spreadsheet, VIN# 3265 is the last 2012 model produced.

    I created a registry for 2012 Model S VINs

Without asking to be added to the spreadsheet so I can edit, I am just going to put the information here. Please add to spreadsheet. VIN# is 5YJSA1CN1CFP03101. 85 battery, Non-performance, Black, Sunroof, Free SuperCharging, 19" wheels. As of today, 120,000 miles. Original motor & battery...

    I created a registry for 2012 Model S VINs

I am interested in this information and will add my vin to the VINwiki list. I took delivery of my 2012 MS in January 2013 so I got one of the last produced. My VIN is over 3000. I also feel there is value in a 1/2 year model year of a car and would love to know how many 2012 Model S’s are...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I am unable to option trade in my ROTH. As I understand how Limited Margin works, it allows me to buy and sell stock the same day without waiting for settlements. So, I am looking for anyone’s daily trading strategies. If I recall, maybe improperly, some people used to purchased in the...
