I have the discontinued metallic silver. Looks very similar to the white when up close.
And wow they are really price gouging Tesla owners. I am prepared to break out my Tesla paint repair kit if the quote is too high.
I emailed the pics to a few body shops and they all want me to take it in for an estimate. Will probably do that next week. If it's too expensive, I might just see what I can do to make it look better myself. I get the feeling they will want thousands of dollars.
I f'd up in this stupid narrow parking garage in Toronto and scraped the side of my model 3 against a pillar. Are there any good body shops in the GTA that can fix this without breaking the bank? Not sure if it's possible for me to do myself. Pics attached.
I had my service appointment moved to today. Here is what they said...
"Upon further inspection diagnosis, we can see that the 12v battery was reporting 7.3v at the time of the issue. This was caused by the vehicle HVC controller stuck in a sleep mode. It was also seen the bootloader was not...
It was left in a garage unplugged for 2 nights and the average temperature was -15C. My phone was not able to connect after the second night, which is when I assume it died. I thought the 12V battery would always recharge and the car doesn't have to be plugged in.
Thanks, that must have been what it was since it increased about an hour later. Never seen that before. I wish there was an indicator saying "heating batteries" or something.
My Model 3 was charged to 350km, and the 12v battery still died overnight. I'm assuming this has to do with the cold. Car was dead and unresponsive. I jump started the battery and the car seems to be operating okay now. It shows that it is charging, and the range is increasing, but the charge...
Got my rebate today! Submitted June 4th.
I was looking over the EVHIP Guide and saw this...
Do I have to do anything going forward or can I now forget about it?

All I've gotten was the automated email after I submitted it. I really don't understand why it takes so long to process these applications. Isn't it someone's dedicated job?
Might as well be me at this point. But no, I only routed the cable through the house and then got him to hook everything up to the plug and breaker box.
Yes it is a stab lok style panel, but it is the Canadian version which is federal pioneer and not federal pacific. I did a bit of research and apparently they did not have the same problems as the US version. Most breakers in there (including the new 50 amp one) are also now schneider brand...
Thank you everyone!
It turns out that both legs were on the same phase. iwannam3 explained it well for someone like me who knows hardly anything about electricity. I moved the breaker up a single spot so it was using both phases and now everything is working flawlessly.
I had my electrician install a nema 14-50 plug to use with the included adapter that came with the model 3. He used a 50 amp breaker and 6/3 wire. After the install, he used a voltage meter on the plug and both sides were reading 120V, so 240V total. It clearly has enough power. However, when I...
