To answer your question, if you are on the Proof of Insurance step, there is nothing else you need to do. If you are in California, we are not required to have vin specific insurance for the car for pickup. You can just upload your current insurance of any car. VIN assignments should be coming...

I may have edited my order as well, that could be what is happening to us, although I didn’t change anything on my car. And I totally agree with you, this has been such a weird experience. Super easy online process, but this uncertainty and waiting game has been weird to say the least.
