Can you get the Decal for an out of state registered car?

My experience: Like others mentioned with the EV credit and people finding out whats going on I found only a few local models qualifying for the 25k rebate. Some private seller options pop up here and there and through Tesla used you're only going to find usually at best a 2020 with high miles...

Yeah I guess more I'm trying to decide between used from Tesla but 2019 is probably the highest year that will qualify for the tax credit, or stick with trying to find a diamond Hertz 2022 that I won't get burned on.

Also trying to decide between a Hertz 2022 60k miles ($23k -> 19k), Tesla used 2019 at 45k ($24k->20k), and a 200k mile 2017 used S thats a little cheaper ($18k ->14k)...tough decisions

Yeah, I get that the LR has the larger warranty range which often negates the higher miles, which is great for these cars... I guess my real concern is buying a car with a major issue outside of the battery and Hertz warranty being useless. I know Hertz isn't trying to intentionally pass on...
