Thanks for the info, tested sentry today away from home, and that seems to work fine. Viewing the footage is sometimes weird, if you press on the progress/time bar at the bottom to go to a specific time, it jumps to there (which is fine) but then after playing a while it seems to skip to another...

Interesting, still not working properly for me, the sentry videos doesn't show up when I press in the view sentry event, and the viewer is buggy for the regular dashcam. Will play with my setup to see if this can be improved.

One correction to this, based on something I read and also looking at the actual folder on the USB drive. It seems the last approx hour of dashcam footage is stored in a folder called "RecentClips", instead of the memory buffer I mentioned earlier. The rest of my comments remain the same.\, so...

Which version of software are you on? Sentry mode in 24.6.4 seems buggy.

Maybe I just got lucky, but I am pretty happy with mine, and other white vehicles taken delivery of on the same day as mine looked good as well. The light can play a lot of tricks with your mind.

Agree, upgraded to 2020.24.6.4 and sentry mode doesn't seem to record the videos properly anymore. Tried 3 time and got one sub 1s videoclip. No videos for the other 2 times, although it says recording on the screen.
