I put an old broom handle that's a little thicker than the wire next to it, but not touching it. close the door so most of the weight is on the handle. not sure if it matters in the long run, since people seem to be closing the door directly onto the wire, but it makes me feel a little better...

I use an old broom handle that's a little thicker than the wire. put it next to, but not touching, the wire and close the door so most of the weight is on the handle and not the wire. Idk if it actually does anything, but makes me feel better.

Just did a trip in CA. Drove max 80 all highway. and got about 208 miles going from 96% to 3%.
