Nissan have decomissioned carwings in the last few months. Leaf telematics are dead. I think Tesla offers a 4G modem upgrade independent of a full MCU upgrade in the US, but I'm not sure if it's offered locally other than doing the upgrade to MCU2

Just received an email saying that Tesla are doing a voluntary recall of the MCU1 and will be upgrading all affected cars to the 64gb emmc as parts become available.

And then add costs for building the superchargers, rent for the site, credit card processing fees, insurance, maintenance... Suddenly there's not that much profit left.

If there's a recall by US regulators, does that mean that Tesla will apply it worldwide or just to cars in the USA?

Happens all the time on my S if I'm too quick for it getting out of the drivers side. I have to stop and pause for it to register car off on the dash or open and close the driver door again to trigger the car to turn off and lock.
