    2024 MY "Price Adjustment" Math

No more big discounts last time I checked (Indianapolis). We had a constantly rotating list of MYLR at least with $5k ish discounts for a few weeks. Now even the demo/TD vehicles aren’t discounted that much. Best I see is about $1600 off for one with 1100 miles on it.

    From Y to Audi e-tron: a Comparison

Putting money where one’s mouth is, or cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s face? My 82 year old father also makes certain decisions with such kinds of uncharacteristically emotional “logic.” I don’t give credit or cast aspersions because we still have the freedom to spend money however we see...

Home charging and a NEMA 14-30 adapter for mobile charger ok?

Sorry, I guess I could’ve worded that better. The plugging/unplugging was a temporary use for a rental. Of course, a long term solution would be a dedicated terminal, even (as others have pointed out) a “dryer buddy” etc. My interest is mainly regarding the 14-30 vs 14-50 for a mobile...

    Hoosier off-peak charging incentives?

Thanks. I’m wondering about the equipment needed. Labor charges aside, what equipment did you need to get?

    Hoosier off-peak charging incentives?

Have any AES customers used their EV charging/off-peak plan? I've contacted the company and only gotten more confused talking to the disinterested customer service folks. Their verbal explanation sounded way more involved that what I read below. I know I'm not that bright, but I figured this...

Home charging and a NEMA 14-30 adapter for mobile charger ok?

I recently returned a 4 day rental '23 MYLR. The mobile connector was included but only with the standard outlet adapter. I picked up an adapter specifically for the Tesla adapter with a 14-30 plug on it so I could charge at home at a reasonable pace. For around town driving, it was more than...

Success story with FAST EV 18 inch wheeels

Have you measured the tire circumference, used highway mile markers, or used your phone's GPS to check the actual change to speedometer/odometer? I've bought more tires for street, race, and off-road vehicles than I can remember, and one thing I learned is that the manufacturers sizing is never...

I had no idea the efficient fell off a cliff when it's raining!

I tried to take a pic of the appropriate data whenever I plugged in. The "avg. energy since last charge" numbers I recorded were: 242, 228, 231, then the dreaded 390 in the rain, 339 after a stop to look through the map, 349 to the SC in Lebanon IN, then 245 for the rest of the trip home. Then...

I had no idea the efficient fell off a cliff when it's raining!

Wow - thanks everyone for all the great input. I appreciate the handholding for the ICE minded like myself, i.e., people who think of EVs in terms of ICE dynamics. I don't know, maybe it's like the last great major transportation change - people who thought of ICE cars in terms of horse and...

I had no idea the efficient fell off a cliff when it's raining!

Hi all, long time lurker shopping a number of vehicles now. We finally rented a '23 MY LR on Turo for local driving and a short road trip. I will be posting soon with pics and many thoughts and questions, but I've got to get this off my chest first: Holy crap does rain do a number on the...

Service Center - Indianapolis Southside (Emerson)

Yes it's my first post here (so my apologies if this is old news - I haven't found this info elsewhere). As a previous lurker who is shopping for MYs right now, this old thread got me motivated enough to join and post, since the construction site noted above is 5 min or so from my house. The...
