Back in the shop for the same issue again. Not thrilled. It looks like they are attempting to replace some sort of wiring harness this time.

I couldn’t believe once I got it removed and realized what it was.

I removed it and used a felt marker and it’s hardly noticeable now. Unbelievable that they would let that fly though. They told me to bring it back tomorrow….I don’t have time for that. Black marker will do for now. Frustrating.

Whoever serviced my car is a clown. I wish I noticed prior to leaving the service center. The tech damaged my forward facing camera glare shield. Then glued it back together. Didn’t think that the glue would eventually show through to the felt. I got home and was cleaning my windshield and...

Got my car back this morning and all is right in the universe again. Auto pilot working for a 50 mile drive. Fingers crossed it doesn’t resurface.

Yeah I’m kind of on edge about that haha. Auto pilot is literally the main reason I got this car.

They claim to have resolved my issue. Picking it up tomorrow morning.

Man what a headache. Don’t like seeing people having the issue persist even after hardware changes. Hopefully I hear an update on Monday for my car.

My car is in the service center for this issue right now. App didn’t update with what parts they are replacing but my guess is the front triple camera assembly or cabin camera.

Mine has done this in the past and it started working randomly. This time it has not worked since it happened again. A week without autopilot is awful.

How do you get into service mode and view that? Would be happy too just not sure how.

Incase anybody is having this issue or has been following this thread and is interested in any sort of update. My car received an update yesterday and my issue still persists. Tesla service has not yet remotely diagnosed the car and I bring it in Saturday for a service appointment.

I had that same camera replaced on my 3. The mobile service technician told me that the part is pretty much designed in such a way that once it comes out you need a new one. The clip that holds it in likely broke and that’s why you’re unable to get it to stay seated.

I opened a service request for my issue. No matter what I do I can’t get it to work. Hard resets, soft resets, wheel config change, power off in safety menu, disconnected 12v and the connector under back seat. Car has slept. I’ve driven almost 215 miles. Something hardware wise must be broken...
