I am thinking of accepting MYP delivery with all those future changes in mind. However, I have 1.2% financing agreed, so what would you do? Guess that low rates aren't coming back for a while.

I ordered MY perf putting down 3500 and monthly pay is 630 with 1.2% interest over 72 months. I don't see a problem with that.

10's of public reviews, tests and reports plus my own experience says that Berlin-made P is more comfortable than Shanghai-made LR. I don't know what cars are you getting in the states, but this is how it is in Europe. Lowered 21" can be softer than 19" and so on.

The thing is that MYP 21" rides better than LR on 19". Other brands are either ugly, slow, pricey or small. Can't buy anything else and can't keep running diesel so think I need to stick with it

Never said anything about M-series reliability. BMW has had rod bearing issues since 1992 E36 M3, it's not gonna change. Late N57 is excellent engine with <10k oil changes. I have owned and maintained BMW cars for 20 years, how long your friend has been at the shop?

Yeah..never had Tesla so it will be a shock at least. Model X was great to drive though but it's way out of budget

That sounds absolutely terrible! I have MYP on order, reading all these issues makes me thinking cancelling the order. I have now 2016 X3 3.0d Msport, no issues at all, no noises, no gaps, rattles, anything...and ride on 20"s is good.

Finland. Now it´s 1.9% for new orders, got mine 1.2%.
