Is Tesla service deteriorating as they scale??

First time they scratched my sunroof. After 2 months they came to replace it. The new one does not sit flat and was uneven, so they ordered another. A few months later they install that one, and it doesn't fit right either. He said the next step they would have to tear up my roof to replace...

Is Tesla service deteriorating as they scale??

Got my S in 2017, have taken it to the service center twice (once for first annual service, second for the MPU upgrade). They damaged my car both times and overall level of service.. well.. sucked. Have never been back, avoiding it at all costs.

Why are there so many new Plaid inventory cars showing up lately?

Despite their lousy service, I would already have one if it had a wheel and stalks. That stupid yoke keeps me away.

Who has had/having their roadster deposit refunded

Yes OP, just know that most rational readers agree with your observations, and see the same things you are seeing with the ridiculous responses to your rational inquiry.

Plaid Owners PSA: Ifhate the Yoke/Turn Signals/Horn, please complain to the NHTSA

Ill keep it short. I race, have for years. I have a 2017 S, and love it. I really wanted the Plaid for the 0-60 speed. I can afford one... But.. The yoke is dangerous, especially in a slide/spin/Emergency handling situation. As someone said, of the total range was like a formula car, it...

Removing Jumpseats - Is there a cover for the compartment?

I am trying to help a friend buy a used Model S. We found a 2017 with the jumpseats (blech). My question is if we remove the jumpseats (several posts on how to do that), how do we cover the hole/compartment where the seats remain? Has anybody done this removal, and if so, what did you do...

    Door handle stuck fully extended

Me too... I had leaned back on it and it "clicked", and then was stuck. I just played around with it gently, and it finally found it's alignment and retracted. Whew... been fine ever since.

Is FSD holding anyone back from new refreshed S?

I love my 2017 Tesla, best decision I ever made. I love my Enhanced AutoPilot too... but if anyone is actually trying to defend the way FSD was marketed and sold, in my opinion, they are blind followers! It was so obviously over hyped. Being in the industry, I knew for sure there would be not...

    I want to purchase 2017 Model S

I have all you mention EXCEPT the 'P' (but do have red brakes). also have PPF and 7yr ceramic coat (OptiCoat), and a Reus sound system, a nearly flawless exterior (no micro scratches, garaged, pampered, the works). And after looking at Plaid, I know why you want the 2017.. I'm holding onto this...

What's your predicted loyalty to Tesla whenever replacing current car?

I LOVE MY 2017 Model S... so much so I am taking great care of it (still looks brand new). Want to get 8-10 years out of it. But if I do need to buy another car... It' won't be a Tesla. Why? Simple, the new interiors suck. I love my model S, maybe I am old school, but I like having an...

yes, did try rebooting. Looked for a thread, couldn't find one

Just got MCU2, Proximity Sensors don't engage automatically

I don't know if this is just part of the upgrade, but 2 things I have noticed right away after getting my MCU2 upgrade. a) The proximity graphic is no longer on the driver dash, but only on the main console screen (annoying) b) The proximity sensors and graphics don't automatically engage when...

    Anyone ceramic coat their wheels?

I coated my turbines inside and out with Cquartz DLux, 3 coats. It's a bit more heavy duty for wheels. They still look brand new, clean up easy!

What's the POINT of a glass roof?

LOL.. OP, you don't like it, that's your personal view. You are trying to pretend it is an objective argument. I LOVE IT, I absolutely can see through it, and look up often (AP is on). In fact, cloudy skies look amazing through it, so much so that I have several pictures I have taken through...
