    Preventive eMMC replacement on MCU1

My 2015 Model S MCU with about 48K miles failed earlier this week. Unfortunately for me I can't even upgrade to the newer infotainment system because I don't have a power lift gate. Yeah, seriously, that is what I'm told. To get a driveable car, I have to replace with an MCU1 for around $1500...

New MS initial impressions and questions

See if you can dial it back up to 40. It happened to me in my Model S where after some higher power draws from the two AC unites running in the heat of summer and the car trying to draw 40 that the car thought that was happening all the time and it dropped the Amps to like 32 and it didn't come...

    Model S AP crashes

Hmm, I had something similar though no accident. I was westbound on I70 right before Thanksgiving about 10 miles or so from the Utah border. I had AP on. Supercharger - Childress,TX

@purplewalt Thanks for the reassurance. We'll be just passing through mid day but that should be perfect time for a long stop and able to have a relaxing lumch. We're leaving Albuquerque at morning at 5:00 am. I'm expecting to be in Amarillo around 11:00 local time and then arrive Childress...

    Supercharger - Childress,TX

I'm going to probably try this route on the way back from Vegas in two weeks. Rather than the previous I40 to I35 and down to DFW/Plano, it looks like i should be able to make the gap from Amarillo > Childress (full charge my S70D) and then drive cautiously perhaps at 60mph to Denton. That's...
