I got my WiFi to work, finally, only if I enable "gf-brcm" mode on 2.4G band on AP.

    Northwest Tesla Auto Insurance

AllState does cover Tesla. I have coverage from them just fine. My price for Model S (85, not D, not P) is $1388 for 1 year. We are in 40s, no "teen" drivers etc. NO rental coverage (I got other car, fortunately), $500 deductible for collision, $100 for comprehensive deductible, 500k...

    テスラ モデルS/Xなどについて日本語で (Japanese language thread)

you could buy UMC from US with 120v plug. If you have those 3prong (NEMA 5-15, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NEMA_connector#mediaviewer/File:NEMA_simplified_pins.svg ), you can probably use 100V JPN plug (I think). But it will be really slow to charge. Do you have 200v options in typical...

A Day Trip from Bellevue to Vancouver BC in my MS-85kWh

I drive just like any other car (meaning I go with traffic flow, perhaps a bit faster than the rest). I am typically in the carpool lane or driving after a fast car around me. I have 85.

A Day Trip from Bellevue to Vancouver BC in my MS-85kWh

+1. I have done the same I must agree. Bellevue/Seattle to Vancouver BC drive is easy one. I also do day trips to Portland where i'd park the car in one of free chargers while we take street train with a day pass. I love those superchargers.

    Combating LED Headlight/Taillight Strobing

Many LED devices (alarm clock etc) does the same. that is to reduce power and heat from LED. It also reduces numbers of components needed to build complex display. If you have a decent camera, try taking a picture of LED clock at shutter speed of 1/250 or higher. You will see that only...

Motor Whine Gone: Bizarre, awesome side effect of 5.8.8??

Well, I knew about this report and was paying extra attention to noise last few days. it's actually colder today for me here. personally, I don't think it's noise from the motor itself but an inverter or other items associated with it. There's conversation from DC to AC and software can take...

Motor Whine Gone: Bizarre, awesome side effect of 5.8.8??

I just had mine upgraded as well to 5.8.8. It's not gone but it is much less/quieter now especially when I am driving around 5 - 30 kw.

    VisibleTesla

this 03 release does not read prior trip and other data (at least on my Win7VM). I have older copies (01 & 02) and they don't have issues reading older data. My preference for a folder location is to use default location so that data should be read across upgrades...
