I was thinking of going the 14-50 route for my chargepoint, but the chargepoint rep told me that they recommend hardwired for outdoors. Of course the advertising for their 14-50 product says indoor/outdoor. I went hardwired and am glad with the decision. Tom

Anytime there is a serious collision with self driving (Tesla or others) it’s on the evening news. But when a sure accident is avoided we generally don’t hear anything. Glad to hear you avoided a collision. Tom

I went with the charge point hard wired charger. In NJ the Tesla charger doesn’t qualify for the utility rebate, which covers installation costs up to $1500. I haven’t received my check yet, but was told I’m approved. I need to use the Tesla provided adapter which is inconvient but not...
