I'm certain the service center will recommend the $2k infotainment "upgrade". Clearly their faulty software is our problem.

"Infotainment upgrade" for $2k (though we already paid for LTE upgrade, and it removes all radio options) is the only solution that Tesla Service has offered for similar issues on my '14 S80.

We have a similar situation. 2014 S 80; "VCM to Upgrade eMMC" and LTE upgrade in March. There is an energy savings mode in settings>display. Turn that off, or turn it on and off. That solved the slow boot for my car. The center display went black while supercharging last Sunday (5/8)...

I'm in a similar boat as Skotty. 2014 S 80. eMMC and LTE upgrade in March. After the "upgrade" there are requent slow boot (1-2 minute), occasional center console slow boot (5 minutes+), and after supercharging for the first time since the upgrade last Sunday, the center console did not boot...

As to the original question, we did not receive the MVPA until about 40 hours before delivery. Pretty normal.
