Checked out the Tesla app today to find the delivery date could be in two days, I also got a VIN, but I got no text not sure what that means
The whole EV credit thing is eating my brain now,
This whole EV credit thing is frustrating, I hope we know soon for sure.
for me I am not picking a car on December, knowing that if I wait I'll get 10K back, even if it means a new order, because as soon as that credit takes an effect all the used tesla models will take a 10K hit.
totally agree.
Like the sellers of anything in high demands, they get to set the rules, I think what is going on aside from the supply chain problem, is they are trying to gives high priority to order where they make more money, like MYP, so the more MYP order they further out the delivery date...
I live in Oregon, and for Oregon (and bunch of other states) you can just upload your current insurance without adding the Tesla, and that is what I did. I also called my insurance company and they told me that as soon as I have a VIN and an estimated delivery date they can send me an updated card.
I am in the exact same position as you, only difference is that I ordered on 09/09, no EDD, status is overview, the agreement greyed out.
Called tesla to double check that nothing is missing on my side, and I was told that everything seems fine on their end, and hopefully the EDD will show up soon,
