    What will I be getting?

You're reading way too much into this. You ordered a Tesla Model Y Long Range, advertised with 330mi range. That is what you'll be getting. You're not going to get an inferior car with 280mi of range. Now there is a chance you might get a car with MORE range if Tesla "discontinues" the current...

Tesla Y Delivery Time-Orange County Ca

Welcome to the Tesla club, where it has been well documented and known that supply chain shortages and extremely high demand has pushed many Tesla delivery estimates. Most people ordering a long range model Y today wont get it until 2023.

Questions for those that did trade-ins with Tesla

You only turn in your trade when you pick up your new car. So when the trade in offer expires then you just apply for a new one

    First Impressions: Model Y Performance

FYI i'm going from a 2018 Model X with air suspension to a 2022 Model Y Performance. The so called "rough ride" that goes with the performance model is a non-issue and i don't even notice it. Its more likely FUD spread by people wanting P models and not wanting LR people to switch by somehow...

Model Y LR built in Giga Austin!!

last time someone posted they had an austin made VIN turned out to be a fake. lol. Unless its on electrek or teslarati, lets take it with a grain of salt. Austin doesn't have any 2170 cells so i'm not sure how they can be producing any LR model Ys. That screenshot looks photoshopped as well, a...

coolant leak in rear drive unit (12k miles on odometer) and Tesla says someone touched it so the warranty NOT applicable

You bought this car non-new, so you have no way to verify if the car was or wasn't touched by someone else.

Is this true? or just shock

Tesla build times are 12+ months out, the company has to predict what the cost of materials would be in the future, not right now. No point in them selling a car today and then accepting payment 13 months from now for less than what the car is actually worht.

No issues, couldn’t find anything but i wasn’t looking with a fine tooth comb. The car did come with Pirelli summer tires though instead of the Michelin AS and theres no mud flaps or PPF. Included the mobile connector bundle, i did order 3/12/22.

    2022 Model Y initial Wh/mi very high

Yes this is normal. That's from using your a/c. Wh/mi shows your total energy consumption from all sources. It's like when you have an ICE car and idle it for an hour with the a/c running, you can bet its gonna show an obscene number like 5mpg

no. all the model Ys made in the last 3-4 months have been the same.

EOQ push. Getting a car to seattle doesn't take as long as chicago. By rail he's looking at 10+ days, it almost certainly has had to have left by now if its to be delivered by June 30th.

When is ultra Long Range battery coming?

This is absolutely false. Lots of people, myself included, have taken cross-country roadtrips with Teslas. There are numerous Tesla "influencers" on youtube who always seem to take 1000+ roadtrips every couple months with no issue. Personally, i've driven a Model S 60kwh (that has like 200 miles...

Pay now to save yourself time. the odds of you rejecting the car are slim to none, and tesla is usually pretty good at fixing problems so its not like you have to pull the "fix it or im not paying" card at them.
