Is that a Model 3 LR as per your signature ? I thought only RHD SR+ was being Made in China. If they're making Long Range as well, I would be very tempted to order, as I'm hoping that the build quality is better. I don't think I can wait until they're making them in Berlin!

I think the manufacturing date is more likely 8th October rather than 10th August. The US typically has dates in mm/dd /yyyy format

Sorry to hear about the OP’s issues. I think, having read a story like this, I’ll wait for a Berlin built model 3, before getting one. Anyone know when these are likely to start being produced? End of 2021 or early 2022?
