Why would you want to change your chargeport? I like the legacy chargeport better.

they did end up replacing the radar which was a whole new part # (rev), I read it wrong did not see radar at first and thought it was the park assist sensors they were talking about.

What about the inner trays under the sliding door? Those also have decor. Sweet gonna look nice!

Did they replace your center console? Or just replace the decors on it? If only the decor make sure they didn’t mess up the function to your sliding door and inner trays cause that thing is hard to disassemble.

Shouldn’t affect it, just think they don’t wanna be liable if anything does happen, mine has ppf and still has parking sensors, had no problem with mine, but they do need to remove the front fascia to access it. Also check your front end fit before cause they’re notorious at not properly...

Yes it’s the radar itself, not the parking sensors.

The new radar without potential water intrusion is a whole new part number, nothing to be worried about just udated rev. Confirmed after my service visit.

But will they update the interior decor trim on the UI as well is the big question?

Yep that is 100% the part, those little holes around the edges of the grommet secure onto the wheel liner.

If I can remember correctly it’s just a rubber grommet, don’t believe tesla has just the grommet in stock, so they have to order the whole liner.

By any chance can you post your latest service invoice of the last visit, want to show my service advisor they said it wasn’t available yet.
