I wasn't trying to pass it off as fact which is why I said "my understanding". I wasn't aware that it could be transferred at all anymore.

Factory reset is painful but car gave me hope with the odometer incrementing correctly for the first 2 miles...then nothing for the next 8 miles. I gave up and went home. Service is researching.

My understanding is that free supercharging plans don't transfer to the next owner. I agree with others on contacting Tesla to know for sure or just assume it won't be free.

Chatting w/ service...memory was at high utilization so they cleared a majority of that. Apparently the trip odometers eat a lot of memory. Still having the odd incrementing so we are on to a factory reset...ouch.

Odometer behind the steering wheel and odometer in app match. Hopefully it's the correct number.

Thanks and yes, that is my fear. Checked the trips and as I suspected they have all been reset multiple times by service where power was disconnected. Have a mobile service appt for Friday...we'll see what they say.

I'm an early adopter, had my S signature since Oct 2, 2012...vin 211. I took a short road trip today ~150 miles and noticed that the odometer was not incrementing each mile. It jumped 5, 2, 3 ,1... inconsistent increments. Not sure if it is incrementing after the miles driven or before. Opening...
