    Tracking Multi-red production and sequencing

Just got the call. red P85, 21s, pano, tech, air, black leather, piano black, etc. coming April 18. Heh heh.

    Adjusting the adjustable suspension

Looks to me like you did pretty well. You brought your times down in every run, and wound up with a respectable time for street tires. We could check with Roger, but I don't think your tire pressures are high for street tires. He may set low because he's running R tires. If you are still...

And I'd say the electric Smart Car is mass produced.

    Odometer roll call

Wow. Me and my lousy 13,800. :-) Enjoyed every one, though.

If you haven't driven on ice, go someplace cold now. It is a huge giggle. You drive 14 mph and you are suddenly sliding all over the place, over-correcting, doing a 360, laughing and laughing. You get the hang of it after a bit, and get in some nice drifts and slides that actually work for you...

Yup, I think you could tap it though, and you are (theoretically) standing still for a fraction (or as long as you desire) after the 180. Tough timing, but should work. I did the ice gymkhana up on Georgetown Lake this winter. I should have tried it there, where everything is at low speed and in...

You can do a J turn in any car with an emergency brake. Back up, cut the wheel, pull the emergency brake. With the front wheels turned, the car rotates around the stopped wheels. When the car has turned 180 release the brake, shift into forward. It's all in the timing -- and leave yourself a...

    Mud on the Door Sills

mud I wish it were just outside. I have inch-thick mud inside my car, on the door sills, sucked in by airflow. The last mile to my house is dirt when dry, mud when wet. My black car is known locally as the tan Tesla. Outside and in. Love it, though.

    Odometer roll call

Been updated regularly. Just had annual inspection and updates. Have seen no change at any time. Do we just have a natural variance going on?

"The Roadster in Standard mode, on the highway, in around freezing temperatures is a 100 mile range car." Give us a little more info, please. Speed on the highway? I drive every day in whatever weather, including well below freezing, on a road where I'm going 55 to 70 for 80% of the trip...

Cool. Extra weight for downhill, lighter weight for uphill. I like it. "A pint's a pound the world around."

    Odometer roll call

After 14 months and 12,500 miles I still get 189 miles ideal range in standard mode every day. Charging at 40 amps on a 50 amp line. ONe of the fun things for me -- I live 5 miles and about 2,000 feet above Boulder. When I drive down the hill in the morning, I most always have 189 miles left...

No more ICE? Not me. I love my Tesla, drive it 5 or 6 days a week. I tell everybody to get one, so long as they have a long trip car or can rent one. But, I still love my 1999 BMW m-coupe. Handles better, and I actually enjoy shifting. And, living in Colorado mountains, I need a high...

    Adjusting the adjustable suspension

My local Tesla tech says," When I did your adjustments I did jack the car up, but that was more for ease of access than anything else. You definitely don’t have to take the weight off the wheels when adjusting the shocks, and I don’t think it’s necessary for the sway bars either." Webbie
