Model 3 Tires, Tire Sizes, Types, make / model recommendations, tire discussions, etc

Thanks for the reply. I did some more reading and decided to get 2 new tires for sure. Then I checked my front tires and they were at 4/32 so I figured might as well just get all 4 tires replaced. The Michelin PS4S' also have a 30k mile warranty so if it only lasts 15k miles, I'll get it...

Model 3 Tires, Tire Sizes, Types, make / model recommendations, tire discussions, etc

Hey guys, Found a nail near the sidewall of my rear passenger tire. I have the Pirelli P-zeros on there right now and was hoping to get the Michelin PS4S after the Pirellis wore out. I have just under 15k miles on the car. In my previous AWD vehicles (Subaru STI), if you had to replace 1...

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

I've never ridden in a MPP Non-adjustables but I hear they're pretty comfortable. So you should be good on that front. Perhaps someone else who lives in someone else who lives near the coast or on salted winter roads can speak to the corrosion resistance of the non-adjustables. I have a set...

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

Here's a quote from Jesse with MPP in response to one of my emails asking a similar question: " An alignment can be done a few days after installation, just try not to go on any road trips just in case the alignment is really far out. We don't want to kill your tires! It isn't a bad idea to let...

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

If you have a buddy who can help it would make things a lot easier. I got one of those Safejacks which works great. The only problem is that my hydraulic jack has those wide handles on the side. So when I lift up the car and position the safejacks, the legs of the safejack hit the handles of...

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

Very true. I'm never attempting that again. But small little stuff I'll try and tackle myself. The brake cylinder bracket and front lower control arm bushings have piqued my interest. Brake Bracket looks like a quick and easy job. Might need to find someone todo the bushings tho...maybe...

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

Good luck on the install. It took me 10 hours to install the coilovers myself. But I was having issues w/ my jack and the jackstand. By the end my thigh was spasming and cramping up!! LOL getting old sucks!!

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

Looking at the instructions - doesn't look like it's a DIY project if you don't have access to a press huh?

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

Hm thanks for that. I might just keep it at 12/10 then haha. Save me the trouble of readjusting it after the wife starts complaining while in the back seat.

    MPP Comfort Coilover reviews?

I don't think sways are necessary at this point. Unless you plan on auto-x or tracking your Model 3 and feel like there is either too much sway or need to dial in more or less understeer/oversteer. The car handles pretty flat already and I'm on 12/10 settings which probably skews more towards...

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

I have some Aspira 15mm spacers that were on the car before with my Uberturbines. But they sadly do not fit the new wheels. Not sure if I want to go too low on the car. My wife drives it once in a blue moon and she's not equipped to drive a lowered car.

Lowered on MPP Comfort Coilovers. Set the perches to recommended height according to MPP. Which only dropped the car about 1/2". I might lower it another 1/2" but we'll see.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Thanks I just wanted to confirm. I JUST lowered the car and bought some 15mm spacers for the Ubers also. So wasn't counting on getting wheels any time soon but the deal crossed my path and I just couldn't pass it up. BTW - Love the user name and profile pic. I remember that scene from 5th...
