Successful completion of Condo charging installation – Now I can charge at home!

Welcome to the club! I recommend ditching the post topper, screw on a rectangle piece of plywood, then add some cedar shingles. Even though the charger is weather proof, I found it best to keep as much weather off as possible. Plus it's nice not grabbing a handful of wet when it rains.

    Model S - Window Tinting

I went with 30% Huper Optik on sides and rear, 60% on the windshield. It's so nice not needing sunglasses on the overcast days. No issues seeing at night.

Model S Shows Its True Colors (Photos)

Nothing with good composition, but here are two. The first was taken at dusk and the silver starts to look like a light blue. The 2nd was under our carport charging, so you can see how it looks with shadows.

    Dogs in a Model S??

After VW buys back our Sportwagen, the Model S will be our transport method for our dog Megatron, a 160 lb Great Dane. I picked up the EVannex cargo protector and tried it out last night. Works great, but doesn't provide total coverage when the seats are down. We do have a custom dog bed that...

Charger for condo. Need lots of guidance

Some pics of my CPO Model S filling up at home. The ChargePoint Home charges @ 32A and adds 23 miles/hr.

Silver Metallic wouldn't have been my first choice, but we thought the CPO was a good deal. I love it in person, and the more I see it, the more I think it's one of the better colors.

Tesla Model S CPO Website - Now Live

Our options for vehicles are limited to wagons or hatches so our extra large dog can fit. The new Volt is too high in the back for him to climb in, but the E-Tron would have worked. I've ordered the dog protector from EVannex so I'm excited to get him in the car...should be fun. He's 39" at...

    What's your 90%?

Just took delivery of a 2013 CPO S60 with 38.5K miles. Fully charged by Tesla with 196 miles out the door. Put 50 some miles on it commuting then charged it to 90% overnight, getting 177 miles now. I'm pretty happy with those numbers.

Tesla Model S CPO Website - Now Live

We've been soft shopping for a vehicle for months now. We've been happy with our VW TDI Sportwagen and what it can haul, but as soon as a buy-back became a possibility, we started looking. Thought about getting a Tesla, but the price was out of our budget since we are saving to build a home...

Charger for condo. Need lots of guidance

It's a treated fence post that matches the neighborhood fencing. I actually found it in our storage area as it was a left-over from when they built the place. It goes down a couple feet and is concreted it.

Charger for condo. Need lots of guidance

Yeah, it worked out pretty well! But now I'm stuck on the board...oops :) I forget to mention we saved money on the install by doing the needed trenching ourselves. We had to trench about 12 feet and 2 ft down for the last bit of conduit. Took the better part of a day but we saved a few hundred.

Charger for condo. Need lots of guidance

Four years ago after we purchased a Volt, I approached the HOA to get public charging installed. I did all the footwork, getting quotes, researching chargers that were on a network, etc. ChargePoint even had an offer for businesses at the time where they offered a free charger, but you had to...
