    Rear trunk won't open

I had the same symptoms on my 2017 75D over the weekend. Luckily, I was already due to goto the SC for an MCU2 upgrade on Tuesday and they took care of it for me. They replaced the high force cinching actuator for $112 including labor. I was pretty happy. I was also pleasantly surprised that...

    HW3 Upgrade

I have a very similar experience. I saw last week that my MCU1 Model S (Sept 2017) was eligible for HW3 upgrade and made an appointment for Wednesday this week. They had real problems updating the firmware and kept it for two days. I finally got it back this evening and it is super smooth. I had...

    HW3 Upgrade from HW 2.5 with MCU1

I have a very similar experience. I saw last week that my MCU1 Model S (Sept 2017) was eligible for HW3 upgrade and made an appointment for Wednesday this week. They had real problems updating the firmware and kept it for two days. I finally got it back this evening and I second all of...

Any HW3 updates to MCU1 Model X or Model s?

    Driver's seat controls not working

I updated to 2017.48 today and wanted to setup the entry/exit profile. I tried to move the driver's seat backwards using the controls on the side of the seat. My seat moves in every direction but backwards. It really seems to be a switch problem (not a motor problem) because if I restore my...

    GPS Position Stuck??!

I've had this happen to me twice over the last week on the .38 firmware. There is a "bandaid" fix to this problem if you call Tesla. 1/2 reps knew the answer right away, for the second rep I had to push him to try the fix. Both times I got my problem resolved. There is now a bulletin about...

Three-position dynamic LED turning lights in new, custom Model S

After I saw hulk2k17's message this afternoon, I also wrote a short note to the executive escalation team. I already got a reply that followed the same structure (though wasn't verbatim) - I expect to have the headlights replaced by my local service team. Hopefully they can do it with ranger /...

How do I check if I have APH2 or 3? I haven’t gotten an AEB email, my car was built mid Sept and mussels still lists APH2 code...

Three-position dynamic LED turning lights in new, custom Model S

I take delivery tomorrow. Does anyone know how much the adaptive headlights were worth? Maybe I can get a discount.

I am picking up my 75D tomorrow as well. My Tesla is also showing APH2. It was built 1-2 weeks ago.

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I can see them dropping the price next week - if they were worried about margin, they would have discontinued RWD on Oct 1. If they are worried about clearing out inventory, they may drop the price now and try and clear out inventory of reduced price RWD and AWD 75s. I think inventory has been...

Didn’t they drop the 75 price immediately when they discontinued the 60 models?

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Anyone thinking about delaying delivery of their 75D in anticipation of a price drop due to the fact that the RWD 75 will be discontinued this weekend?

    Locking in promotional financing

I called Alliant as well and got the same story - 45 days from approval to take delivery (can extend to 60 as well). This looks like what I will do early next week to lock in the financing. He also told me that you need a TransUnion score of >740 to qualify for 0.99%.
