MIC M3 is not coming to Europe this quarter (earliest delivery is Nov.). Either they are sold out or the LFP cells in 3 SR+ which was imported to Europe have been diverted to Y SR in China.

That is precisely what I am confused about. I think social media is linking opening of order book for Model Y SR in China to Model Y LR deliveries in Europe.

They have re-designed the pack and modules and are using castings like the 3&Y which has reduced weight. A lot of significant changes to 3&Y have also been carried over to S/X now like the heat pump. They may even be using structural battery pack along with castings. Not sure if cooling 18650...

There is clearly some advance tech in that plaid powertrain. It is delivering ~ 50% more performance but the range drop is only 22 miles (5%). This tech is slowly going to make its way to all performance models (3/Y/Cybertruck). Basically more power with insignificant range loss in regular driving.
