2014 Model S WHIRRRRRR coming from rear right

It becomes hard to hear, but between 1-25 or so, it's very noticeable. At a crawl (like barely pressing the pedal, say going out of garage) I don't hear it either, just under any form of acceleration. Above 25 (maybe 30) it's hard to hear over the road/tire noise. This clip was recorded in...

2014 Model S WHIRRRRRR coming from rear right

My 2014 Model S just developed a low whirring sound coming from the rear right side of the car at 1-25MPH speeds. It doesn't seem to impact performance at all, I don't hear any other sounds, just a low whirring, sort of like a leafblower motor or something. I was able to record a vide of it...

My solution for quarter panel break ins

Not a M3 owner, but a S owner... but i must say this post is full of genious ideas. My rear passenger window was smashed sunday while out with some friends...in SF. Also kept my car empty, but forgot to fold down the seats...they didn't take anything except 300$ for my deductible.

Am I able to unlock my battery OTA?

Yeah topic sounds dumb, I assure you it isn't. let me explain. My 2014 S 85 (non P/D) wouldn't start 3 weeks ago. I had to have it towed to the shop, car was throwing a ton of warnings, and roadside service said the 12V wasn't seeing the HV pack. 3 weeks later, I get the car back, except now...

Why I sold my 1-month old Tesla Model S.

The guy said he and his wife buy 8 new cars in 5 years. If any of them cost as much as a Tesla new, I think he can afford it. I make >150k/year and I have NEVER been able to afford a new car. I buy one car every 7-10 years, CPO (2007 BMW 335i in 2010, 2014 Model S 85 in 2017). I think...

    Seriously. Where’s our annual update

They don't. But self-entitled gimmie millenials think everyone owes them something in life...therefore...gimmie.

    Seriously. Where’s our annual update

all this complaining....I'd settle for permanent hill hold in my 2014 Model S non-AP CPO car.

Not driving for a week. Keep plugged in or not?

does this hold true even if it's not charging? I pay a buttload for electricity during the day (44 cents/kwh) so is just having it plugged in to the charger enough, or does it actually need to be charging?
