    NEM-PS Annual True-Up Calculation [PG&E example]

I never received the B&W bill. Have always received the newer Blue bill…which I feel gives pretty good details (except no indication of monthly export limit).

    NEM-PS Annual True-Up Calculation [PG&E example]

Yes, at least there is supposed to be. Roughly based on your PVWatts calculation, and my understanding was it’s only indicated in your B&W bill (which I’ve never received). The newer detail blue bill has lots of details, but seems to not have your monthly export limits.

    Charge on Solar (for Powerwall)…

I don’t believe so, unless I got that incorrectly. Backup Reserve is similar, but still different concept. It limits how much you can use, and the buffer you’d keep in the case of an outage. AFAIK, when you have GC turned on, it will always aim for a 100% charge, but it doesn’t specify...

    Charge on Solar (for Powerwall)…

It would sure be cool if Powerwalls supported at “charge on solar”-esque setting where we could set the maximum SOC (or maybe that’s just 100%) under all sources of charge, and a lower SOC for Grid Charging. Especially for those of us in PGE land, the GC+EE can really start to add up the...

Anyone had PW import/export data issues in the app recently?

I never really debugged this much. Two days after this Tesla replaced one of my four powerwalls and everything started working again.

    NEM-PS Annual True-Up Calculation [PG&E example]

I will have a good data set to work of after this June (1st PGE true up but I think my SJCE true up doesn’t actually happen for an entire additional year after that per their “10 bill/month policy”. My NBC’s will dominate this year because of running TBC+GC+EE with 4 powerwalls. My NBC is ~=...

Summary of options for 3-foot requirement between main panel and gas riser

The slam-shut exception is apparently not listed in the Greenbook according to my PG&E contact... “it's in an internal document we have and on there it does say that the acceptable minimum clearance distance for the slam shot regulator is 12 inches radially and any direction from the vent...

    NEM-PS Annual True-Up Calculation [PG&E example]

I’m aware of the hidden location. It’s not there. There is some thinking that actually going forward, there will be no more B&W bill, people will just be moved to the “new” Blue bill movinng forward. When was your PTO date? We have yet to see a person with PTO after May 2023 that has moved...

    NEM-PS Annual True-Up Calculation [PG&E example]

Has anyone that got PTO in 2023 ever seen the B&W Bill? Or is that not a thing anymore? I got PTO in June 2023, and I still can’t get the B&W bill. I get the “new” Blue bill…which has the much nicer YTD charges for true-up (not a forecast), and better details of NEM chargers, MDC, NBC, etc...

Anyone had PW import/export data issues in the app recently?

has anyone had issues with the Tesla app displaying Powerwall data? Home, grid and car are all showing data. And the Powerwall is showing SoC. But not energy flows in and out.

Multiple chargers in the Tesla app

Not quite yet. Still need to trench a bit, lay the pad and then get the back to finish the cables.

Advice requested: wall connector & pedestal install

Ok, so I guess the sub panel part would have been in theory ok….but your tap would have need to have been 5x60A=300A, right? Or you could just set the EMS to have a max of 160A (160A @ 125% for EVSE = 200A). But that doesn’t appear to be approved for CA until they update to the 2023 NEC code...

Advice requested: wall connector & pedestal install

Do all 5 of your wall connectors have dedicated/separate branch circuits? Or are any of the 5 EVSE sharing a circuit? What AHJ are you in?

Advice requested: wall connector & pedestal install

Yes, re-reading the SJ website you are correct, it’s just limiting the level of EVSE, not the qty. great! As for the multiple EVSE’s sharing a branch circuit…this is what I was referred to by SJ folks. … In doing a little research it looks like the NEC did amend for the NEC 2023 code...
