Many insurance companies will insure using the VIN number. Also, you can still get all your quotes and trawl the market using a fictitious Reg number, just change to the real one (or VIN) when you actually put cover in place.

And I find they don’t automatically seem to switch off when back in full bright sunlight. My wipers (set to auto) seem to have a mind of their own also, they come on when I haven’t seen a drop of moisture for days... grrrrr

They seem to have no difficulty at all in enabling the ability for you to give them money😂 they have also no difficulty in being downright awkward and obstructive after you have done so😡 Customer and service are two words that can never be used together by Tesla sadly

Thanks for this info. I am leaning towards screw on rather than clip on purely for the fact that it might tend to be more secure in the event that one happened to encounter a high curb. Hopefully, they should be more securely fixed than clip on type, albeit more work to initially fit in place...

As it happens, mine is a white car (with19" silver wheels") ...and black tyres 😂 Its also good that they don't stick out wider than the front wheels. I've look at the sellers item, they are the screw on type, using some of the existing holes, not the "V2" clip on type @curmudgeon mentioned...

Birmingham (St. Andrews) is marked up like that. I notice there are 4 "main cabinets" at the end of the charger stalls (and there are 16 V3 chargers) so my guess is that 4 chargers are fed from each control cabinet. I have no idea if that's the normal arrangement for V3 chargers or not. Can...
