Got within 10 days of EDD mid April for MYP then it went to July couple of days ago grrrrr.

Cant see they have enough 4680 batteries 1 mil does about 1100 cars. Assuming there battery day performance gigs hold up but the word is they don't.

Anybody know the weight of Berlin v Freemont MYP with 2170 batteries. Also do they use the same number of 2170 batteries in both configurations as Berlin uses front castings and adapted structured pack.

If Fremont goes over to the Berlin style MYP 2170 in structured pack do you get same performance as before or are there less 2170 cells so they can fit in. Also what is the weight of Berlin style MPY. Could be best all round solution.

Just pushed three months was due last week of this month. MYP Blue/Black no extras. So guess I am back in the 4680 game. Ohio.

Mine was a mid March order in Ohio was June delivery, suddenly moved to this month now gone to even less longer to July. Thought logistics was the science of a smooth supply process, well seems not.

Mine jumped from mid June to midJuly to delivery I next three weeks. Was ordered Mid March. Blue /Black no extras. In Ohio. No vin yet.

Off topic sorry, but interesting. Just got a Twitter back from Elon Musk World on Twitter offering congrats to a Model Y Purchaser that suggested understood waiting for the 4680. Looks like it came with Elon's Face next to it. Cant be real can it???

After much complaining I guess I will have to accept 2170 , MYP old style chassis when it arrives. Really wanted 4680 but having read everthing I can I feel they are probably not going to be ready till 2023. However can't see why we can't have the 2170 pack Elon talked about a his backup...

Tesla keeps saying they are a cutting bedge company they can't complain when they announce cutting edge battery and chassis design then after announcing but people want to buy it based on their implied time frame.

When Elon says model y will have 4680 and be produced at Giga Texas. Then Boglino said there was no constraint on 4680 supply. Both public statements from the top. That is why I placed my order had never been in Tesla site till that day. Perhaps my interpretation was incorrect but not...

Not enough 4680 batteries. My guess they have enough for 2000 MYP max. Also most orders for Fremont 2170 cars would be cancelled. Is down to battery production and the company will not provide information to customer s.

Remind me again how many million 4680 batteries do we need just to complete MYP orders per year , let say 950 per battery pack.

How about the dry cathode issues that baglione mentioned. Reduces the cost saving by about 10% Elon said 15%. Totally agree!!!!!!!

Was looking back and saw that there were issues highlighted by Elon and Baglione that if they can't crack it they will loose between 10 and 15%. Also the calendaring issue has not been totally solved as yet. Perhaps a 2170 structured pack might not be such a bad idea. Any thoughts, new info.

I got a good quote to add to my existing policy at Progressive but have heard they really bump the premium after 6 months, we will see.
