Yep I had little or no steering vibration. The car just shook and the floor shuddered. It's temporary fix my guess will need new shafts in another 5k.

Yep did not read my mail in deal so another day without car. Thier generic instructions don't cover MYP correctly.

No that's too hard, dye the cat black. My white dog drew the line at being dyed burgundy to match my update interior. Very inconsiderate in my opinion.

Has no one installed a ingenext bonus module ie the one that gives track mode but no Boost, on a Model Y Performance and knows which plug to pull and connect into on a Ryzen equipped car.

I love them too. Have been using 6/5 all round for autocross. Interestingly though it's hardish it still does not have the sharp unpleasantness of the original MYP suspension.

Yes they make a module for model y performance. It's not a power boost but their version of track mode

To add to my fun the plug that disconnects the loop for high voltage is stuck its a common problem as lithium iron battery cars dont have the under rear seat plug so though12 bolt supply is disconnected can't disable main battery. Not the best way to have to plug and unplug computer...

Panic!!!! I have the model y performance module only has two connectors.WHICH plug do i pull on computer black female or male. All the instructions seem for be for modules that have 4 plugs. The Model Y performance only has two plugs. So which do I pull upper or lower black plug on computer...

Hi Any way to get clip to separate, have unlocked red tab . It's a Lithium iron battery model so there is no rear under seat plug. Need ower all off to connect a electronic module so stuck till you guys give me a hint, ha

If it helps, changed both front half shafts on my model y performance today and vibration has completely gone. Also by greasing the splines with moly the noise I had on take-up is much quieter. Wear on the old shafts was very slight as to be expected at 5000 mls but was obviously enough. Hope...

So, new shafts installed all back to normal , Putting moly grease on shafts also helped clicking when moving off. The amount of play in shafts that I removed was really small never thought it was enough to cause so much vibration. Did about 33 miles In low speed to run shafts in. Will keep you...

Well, the problem persists. My three month old MYP has the same issue. It has no alignment ro wheel balance issues. All bolts torqued ok. I have just stripped out front shafts very small amount of play on onboard ends. Inboard is negligible. Wheel bearings fine. TheShould all be back together...

Checked aero shield not a mark on it, but with a try. Installing new drive shafts over next couple of days so let's see.

Just a thought, could it be that during hot weather and heat created stress that the grease in the CV joints is running out of the bearings and stating in the ridges if the boots?

My guess GUESS is it's the inboard CV joints. My new shafts arrived yesterday cand will install them in next few days. In my case I have eliminated, balance and alignment. It's probably not ride height as car is slightly lowered. No wheel bearing noises. There is a possibility it's rear shafts...

Just received replacement axels can't feel anty play , will install them in and do the correct braking procedures to see if that helps.

Yep , am using upp rear bar with stock front.

I feel your pain, have 3 mth old model y performance. Above 60 mph car really shyddes and vibrates. Does it at 40 mph when lightly applying throttle. No vibration at any constant speed. Lowered car made little differece. Aligned on Hunter machine, wheels perfect balance. Have square all round so...

That's why I went for 285.35.20 all round no problems when lowered as it naturally adds negative camber all round.

Oh boy, well this will make you laugh but I am 78. Have stripped out front suspension a few times, even adjusting could overs is a bit tricky. Sure thing Comfort adjustable , if they did a sports kit for model y would probably switch it out. With rollbars, wide wheels and tire loosing nearly 85 lbs in unsprung weight 5/5 all round was not too bad on Autocross course.

Been there. Any arm that is flat is a problem. Have cut out the existing gap in top of chassis that gave me a bit more travel. Did find spacing up the ball joint on the cheap Megan arms did work so I got 2.5 inches of suspension travel including the bump stops when car was lowered about an inch...

Read mixed reports in caster bearings. The only way us redwood or unplugged . I am trying modified megan arms cheap but need grinding on and spacering up the ball joint .

I run 285/35/20 square. My offset is 35 . No problems. I think some tires are wider Hoosier are an inch wider than my Michelin A/S 285s for example.

Using MPP arms how much caster do you get.
