Diminished value claims are totally area dependent, and real world situations with what you can reasonably expect to get for a vehicle that has been in an accident vs. one that has not. I never take less than 10% of what the vehicle is worth pre accident, you are going to lose at least that...

What do I need extra space for?

Hard to tell, sort of looks like an impact mark in the middle but that photo doesn't show it clearly enough.

It's beyond easy to change them out, as long as you are not an idiot and drop your vacuum hose attachment in the hole trying to suck out all the leaves... Anyone charging more than .5 hours labor is ripping you off.

I'd keep looking, deals can be found and prices are definitely not up as much as they were in many markets. There is a ticking clock on all this nonsense, people are about to feel the burn of all this overspending .

Sold my Type R once the value maxed out. Was a great entry level out of the box auto x car, but the Model 3 is the better car overall to daily drive. You could make a case for having both.

I thought hard about the 2022 before buying a 2020 yesterday. For the money savings, just didn't seem to make much sense for the few upgrades. I do wish I had the power trunk and black trim though.
