Diminished value claims are totally area dependent, and real world situations with what you can reasonably expect to get for a vehicle that has been in an accident vs. one that has not.
I never take less than 10% of what the vehicle is worth pre accident, you are going to lose at least that...
It's beyond easy to change them out, as long as you are not an idiot and drop your vacuum hose attachment in the hole trying to suck out all the leaves...

Sold my Type R once the value maxed out. Was a great entry level out of the box auto x car, but the Model 3 is the better car overall to daily drive.
You could make a case for having both.
I thought hard about the 2022 before buying a 2020 yesterday. For the money savings, just didn't seem to make much sense for the few upgrades.
I do wish I had the power trunk and black trim though.
