The 12V battery is not the main battery (it use to be good’ol lead acid battery you would have in all ICE cars). LFP batteries are only in the standard range / RWD model 3. LR remains NCA battery.

In Ontario, Canada, they’re looking to implementing ultra low electricity rates overnight (11pm-7am) at 2.5c/kWh. Makes it really really cheap to drive a Tesla compared to ICE car.
