Do you own a Tesla?

Luxury ICE cars have those share of issues. And it’s not too many luxury cars less than 53k. The ones that are are stripped of most features and you just paying for a base car with a fancy badge.

Although realistically I'm very far off from getting a Tesla, I'm trying to avoid letting the awesomeness of these cars make me ignore any downsides when thinking about them. So hypothetically, if you HAD to convince someone not to get one, what would you tell them?

I have no idea why this is so frowned upon. A lease is a lease. At the end of the term U give it up. Down payment or not. U pay a lot now and smaller chunks every month. Or you pay nothing up front and big chunks every month later. Either way you spending it. Now if I don’t finish out the lease...

How much was it? Parts and labor?

W/O a down payment the monthly shoots up to 900-1.5k range. Who wants that? A 4.5k down payment makes it 650/mo after taxes
